Sam Adekugbe is defender for Vancouver Whitecaps FC in Major Legue Soccer (MLS) & the Canadian Men’s National team. He plays as a left-back for both club &  country. His professional career started off with the Whitecaps before he played a majority of his career in Europe for the likes of Brighton & Hove Albion, Galatasary, Hatayspor, and Valarenga.

Sam has made 41 appearances for the Canada National team, including in the 2022 FIFA Men’s World Cup in Qatar where he assisted a goal versus Morrocco in the group stages of the tournament.
