Johnny Selemani joined Vancouver Whitecaps FC Academy in 2022 from BTB Soccer Academy in Edmonton. He was the youngest Whitecaps II debutant in the club’s MLS NEXT Pro era. He made his professional debut at the age of 16 and scored his first professional goal in the same year. Since then, he has impressed the club and make his Major League Soccer first-team debut at the age of 17 in June of 2025.
Johnny has also represented Canada at the U-15 & U-17 level. He helped Canada’s U-17 squad qualify for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar.
