Ali Ahmed is a Canadian defender and midfielder who currently plays for Vancouver Whitecaps FC & competes in Major League Soccer . The 22-year-old made his way to the west coast from Toronto for a trail with the Whitecaps. He would go-on to join the Caps’ in their 2022 preseason in USA. After impressing the coaching staff, Ali put pen to paper on a contract in the early stages of 2022. After an impressive season with Whitecaps 2 in the MLS NXT league, Ahmed was rewarded with a first-team contract in the tail-end of the 2022 calendar year.

After impressing in 2022, Ahmed signed his first professional MLS contract and joined the Whitecaps first-team on a full-time basis.
