Jayden Nelson is a midfielder who currently plays for 2. Bundesliga side SSV Ulm. Originally from Brampton, Ontario, Jayden came through the Toronto FC Academy program when he entered the youth system at 14. He worked his way through the youth system all the way to the senior team where he signed an MLS home-grown contract in 2020. The 19-year-old winger made his debut for Toronto FC during the MLS is back tournament, where he featured against New York City FC.   In 2023, Jayden made the move to Norway and signed with Norwegian giants Rosenborg BK. The deal was the highest transfer fee for a Toronto FC Homegrown player. After a strong first season in Norway, Jayden made the jump to 2. Bundesliga where he join Ulm on a season long loan.  Jayden was also called up to Canada’s roster for the 2023 Gold Cup roster, where he scored a goal against Cuba.
